We are seeking to hire an individual with a background in science/public health to serve as a Research Assistant for a CDC surveillance grant at Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH). We are especially interested in candidates who are proficient in Spanish due to the large number of families that visit the hospital who only speak Spanish.

This position would be appropriate for college seniors who are planning to take a gap year before starting graduate school (e.g. medical or dental school, PA program, Master’s program, etc.). For those candidates, we would expect a commitment to work through June 1, 2025. When: paid, part-time in spring 2024 with transition to full-time after graduation (summer 2024), variable shifts between 8 am – 11 pm, Monday through Sunday; will consider flexing hours to accommodate class schedule.
