Your Public Health Career Path in Uncertain Times

Public Health as a career became very well known through the Covid pandemic – and then unexpectedly almost a year ago, funding was suddenly cut or reduced drastically for much of public health from vital research to life-saving interventions. But this hasn’t reduced the need for public health work – and workers.

Dr. Sue Griffey, DrPH, BSN, FNP, will give a talk on Your Public Health Career Path in Uncertain Times. She will:
• Review what public health as a career path looks like and the changes that career options are still undergoing (affected by the overall jobs outlook)
• Describe specific actions that you can start using now to better position yourself for your job search including transferrable skills and the role AI should have as you position yourself.

And you will leave with at least 3 actions to move your career path forward while you are still a student.

Wednesday, January 28th
4pm-5pm
Location TBA
